I have never been too interested in PageRank nor SEO in general. If I have to be honest, my lack of interest stems from me not knowing too much about either of these topics.

Just recently I have found quite a few articles all about the so-called PageRank leakage problem. From what I can figure out this problem refers to the fact that some folk feel that too many outbound links on your site could actually have a negative influence on your PageRank. In short, the outbound links somehow cancel out the inbound links.

A page that is often overlooked in many WordPress themes is the page that is called when an error 404 occurs. If your theme does not make special provision for this page WordPress will automatically make use of the relevant page from the Default theme should it become necessary.
