		<description>Thanks for the comment Margaret. I have noticed that WP 2.6 does this. All you have to do now is delete the stuff between the quote signs if the image is purely decorative or add the alternative for the image if it forms part of the content.</description>

		<description>Thank you for this explanation. I was wondering what purpose title served when related to an image. The SEO Friendly images plugin for wordpress must add this to the fields you can fill in for your images. 

Have you noticed that the new version of WP automatically puts the file name of the photo in for the alt text if you don't overwrite it? I think that will go a long ways to help your accessibility issues at least as far as images are concerned.
